Musak!

Music is a big part of my life...Love it!...Here are some rambling notes...music...thoughts...

Top of the List

Of all the Entertainers in my childhood...I was most impressed with Louis Armstrong...“Satchmo” He was so much fun to watch...gravelly voice but right on tune...he sweat so much while blowing his horn he had to carry a towel with him!!...Listen to his voice in these tunes...he often sang with little noises at the beginning and end of words...interesting style...He also did a lot “scat” which I really like...I miss him...Is nice that some of his performances have been preserved so our kids can see him...

My favorite song of all time is “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”. This version by Faith Hill is beautiful.
